Augusta doesn’t have a huge number of breweries, but the Garden City is home to two great breweries if you’re looking for a place to enjoy a freshly brewed beer.

Casual Brewery with Excellent Beer
Not far from downtown Augusta, you’ll find River Watch Brewery located in the Augusta State Farmer’s Market Complex.
You can tell that the friendly team at River Watch brews with care creating exceptionally flavored beer. With 10 beers on tap there are plenty of styles to choose from and you can order a flight if you want to try several.
Their casual taproom is a great spot to catch up with friends over a beer or hang out outside at a picnic table.
While River Watch doesn’t have food available in-house, you’re welcome to bring outside food to the brewery.

Events galore at Augusta’s largest brewery
Savannah River Brewing Co. is Augusta’s largest brewery, serving a wide range of beer in a large casual space.
They brew six flagship beers and offer several seasonal and small-batch beers as well.
The taproom is a great place to enjoy a wide range of events that Savannah River Brewing puts on. Their calendar is always full of activities including food trucks scheduled to be on site.
