Of course, The Boll Weevil offers more than just incredible desserts. Their menu features Southern classics and sandwiches. It’s a counter-service restaurant, but they have a very laid-back atmosphere.

The Boll Weevil is located just next to the Riverwalk. It’s right at the amphitheater and makes for a perfect stop for lunch in Augusta when exploring with kids.

The Sno-Cap Drive-In is such a fun place to eat with kids in North Augusta. It’s been a local favorite since opening in 1964.

Their menu includes the diner classics that your kids will love, like hot dogs, burgers and chicken fingers. They also have a ton of ice cream options, including a dip cone and root beer float.

Their dining room with choice of booth or a stool that spins at the counter is such a fun place to eat.

The kids’ menu at Farmhaus includes a grilled cheese, cheeseburger, hot dog and pimento cheese cheese sandwich. Kids’ meals come with fries and a fountain drink.

We like grabbing breakfast with kids at New Moon because their menu has something for everyone. Choose from menu items like bagels, pastries, breakfast sandwiches and loaded toast.

Our top pick for breakfast is the ‘downtown mess’ grits bowl, though. Order your grits It Aiken-style with pimento cheese and ham, or Augusta-style with avocado, pimento cheese, bacon and salsa
